WHAT: New Film Series for conservative activists and the general public.

WHERE: Vision Max Theater, 201 Elm Street, Salisbury, MA

WHEN: Tuesday, November 12, 2013 (7pm-9pm). Registration and Doors Open at 6:30pm

SALISBURY - A new film series for conservative activists and the general public will kick-off next Tuesday evening, November 12th at the Vision Max Theater, 201 Elm Street from 7:00PM to 9:00PM.

This collaborative event is co-hosted by NewMassPlaybook PAC, Citizens for Limited Taxation (CLT) and the Amesbury, Groveland, Salisbury, Newbury, Newburyport, and West Newbury Republican Town Committees.

Dubbed a "Media Smack Down" - An Evening of Bombast, Film Clips this special event will feature commentary and panel discussion starring: Talk Show Host Todd Feinberg of WBZ Radio, and the famous No New Tax Watchdog Barbara Anderson of CLT.

This ticketed event has suggested donation levels of $20, $35 and $50 per person. All students with valid I.D. are admitted free.

Proceeds to benefit the NewMassPlaybook Independent Expenditure PAC, who is not affiliated with any candidate or candidate's committee.

Dean J. Cavaretta is the Founder of Gen X Consulting which provides small business and political consulting services to various clients and campaigns. Most recently, Cavaretta served as a consultant to the 2014 Charlie Baker for Governor and Karyn Polito for Lt. Governor campaign roll-out. Prior, Dean advised the MA Republican Party, where he worked on 2013 Special Elections for state representative and U.S. Senate. Prior to launching his firm, Dean was Deputy Campaign Manager for Polito's 2010 race for State Treasurer. In 2012, He ran himself for the Massachusetts State Senate in the Middlesex and Worcester District.

A former state transportation official who worked under multiple governors, Dean's transportation background includes success with MassDOT project delivery reform and community affairs for Governor Deval Patrick's Accelerated Bridge Program. He was part of a team within the newly merged MassDOT Highway Division charged with the goal to accelerate road and bridge projects on average from 10+ years down to less than six.

A recipient of both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Northeastern University, Dean is dual-certified to teach History and Political Science (Grades 5-12) by the MA Department of Secondary and Elementary Education. He has varied experience in the Ashland, Lexington, Acton-Boxborough and Concord Carlisle school systems.

Dean has also served as the Freshman Football Coach at Concord Carlisle Regional High School and Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. He was also Head Junior Varsity and Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, where he is also a member of the school's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Dean served in the MA Army National Guard in the 1990's (747th Military Police Company, Southbridge, MA) and credits his leadership training in helping him become a more effective educator and coach.
